The specification of the ceramic rods
1. Material options: YSZ zirconia, TTZ zirconia, 95~99.5% alumina, Silicon carbide (SiC)
2. Forming method: Extruding, Dry pressed, Ceramic injection molding, and ISO pressing
3. Specification: Available outer from 1mm to 50mm, available length from 3mm to 2000mm
4. Tolerance A: Diameter below 12.5mm, tolerance ± 3% or ± 0.076 mm, whichever is greater. Straightness: camber / length < 0.003
5. Tolerance B: Diameter above 12.5mm, tolerance ± 5% or ± 0.76 mm, whichever is greater. Straightness: ≤ 0.006″/1.000″ cumulative
6. Surface finish: the working surface to be diamond polished up to Ra0.1, or better

The description of zirconia ceramic rods
Zirconia (ZrO2) is an exceptional heat resistant material. They exhibit excellent chemical inertness and chemistry resistance at high temperatures up to 2200ºC, well above the melting point of alumina. Zirconia is stabilized in the cubic crystal structure to avoid cracking and mechanical weakening during heating and cooling. It’s always an ideal option for high pressure, easily breakage application.

Zirconia ceramic rods/bars have the advantages of super hardness, high wear-resisting, high-temperature tolerance, good corrosion resistance, very low friction coefficient, high strength, high mechanical strength, good chemical stability, polishing surface, and so on. All these ceramic components can offer high dimensional accuracy, mirror surface, and stringent straightness via fine grinding and diamond polishing.
